Farm store Bauer Martin

An individual shopfitting concept was implemented for Farmer Martin’s farm store that deliberately deviates from the standard. As a trained carpenter, the customer brought in his own personal touch and made some of the furniture himself. This was complemented by precisely planned furnishing solutions from us.

The result is a salesroom with character that reflects the customer’s philosophy: down-to-earth, suitable for everyday use and authentic. The centerpieces of the project are a custom-made fruit and vegetable shelf with a wooden back wall, an individually designed egg shelf with decorative details and a refrigerated shelf with glass doors for dairy products, fish and poultry. The equipment is complemented by a freezer, a sub-leased self-service refrigerated shelf and a flexible counter that can be switched between self-service and service operation as required.

The checkout area, hot counter and a pre-checkout area with a cake display case and fresh baked goods from the local bakery were also integrated into the overall layout. All the furniture is mobile and can be driven under so that the sales area can be quickly adapted if necessary.

The implementation took place under challenging structural conditions, as the store was built in a converted barn. Despite limited installation options, a coherent, practice-oriented overall concept was realized – functional, flexible and with a clear design signature.
