Directly adjacent to the Wölfli butcher’s shop, a new bistro and bakery concept was created, which is stylistically oriented towards the market of 2020, yet still sets its own accents. Connected by a passageway, both areas form a harmonious unit. Materials, colors, and details pick up on the existing design and create a consistent overall picture. The snack and bakery counter, custom-made back cabinets, wall paneling, and atmospheric lighting were all realized. A particular highlight is the column-free glass top of the delicatessen and bakery counter – it emphasizes the clean lines and gives the product presentation an open and light feel. With the extension, the butcher’s shop gains a functional additional area that enriches the range of products on offer and creates an inviting place to linger.
