In keeping with the butcher’s shop on the opposite side of the street, we were also allowed to redesign the gourmet shop. With a carefully designed black surface and real wood floors, the greatest possible colour contrast was created here to show off the products on offer to their best advantage.

The showcases have a well thought-out substructure with cooling beams across the entire surface, which not only perfects the presentation but also creates an efficient storage area. Opposite is a customised guillotine to meet customers’ individual proportion requirements.

The counter is also divided into three units in order to adapt ideally to the requirements of different product ranges and product heights. A 3-sided glazed refrigerated shelf is available for pre-packed cheese products and a selection of antipasti. A skilful combination of uniform shelving surfaces and movable potato crates not only makes shopping more ergonomic, but also provides a comprehensive overview of the entire fresh range.
