Spread across roughly 208,000 m², the EDEKA Oberhausen logistics centre in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia is one of largest and most successful construction projects conducted by KRAMER GmbH. Construction of the new logistics centre began on 31 August 2020 and installation was completed within just six months. KRAMER cold room construction played a leading role in the design and construction of the cold and deep-freeze warehouse. The company engineered the interior partition walls, ceiling and flooring for the deep-freeze warehouse, crafted 20 smoke and heat vent hatches, fashioned 50 gates and doors and erected the perimeter walls encompassing the three mezzanine levels. To illustrate the actual magnitude of this project, special features include the 7,020 m² of triple-layered floor insulation and the 26,000 m expanse of insulating panels.

Throughout nearly two decades of collaboration, BREMER AG and KRAMER GmbH have successfully executed numerous projects together, comparable in size to the Edeka construction project in Oberhausen. KRAMER has always carried out the work on schedule and to a high standard of quality, thereby playing a pivotal role in the resounding success of the joint projects. The collaboration is characterised by a profound level of professional expertise, adaptability, fairness and commitment exhibited by all the departments and individuals involved.
