For the new facility in Meckenheim, a modern cold storage solution was developed for Rungis express GmbH to support the professional storage and processing of food. Across a large area, various refrigerated and frozen storage zones were implemented, specifically tailored to the requirements of an internationally active food wholesaler.

The scope of work included, among other things, refrigeration and freezer rooms for fish, meat, and dairy products, as well as areas for goods receipt and dispatch, cutting, packaging, and tray washing. The combination of large-scale refrigeration zones, robust shelving systems, and precisely tailored insulation technology creates optimal conditions for efficient logistics and storage processes.

Special features of the project include the integrated high-speed doors from Efaflex and the cast-in-place V2A impact protection, which are designed for high durability and long-term safe operation. The clear architectural structure, high-quality surfaces, and consistently functional design underscore the high quality standards of the entire facility.
